On 4th November, Albion Art Club hosted a warm and inspiring meeting at XIX Nineteen Restaurant in London, bringing together members and friends of the Club to celebrate creativity, community, and shared achievements.
🎉 During the event, we had the pleasure of:
Welcoming two new members to our community:
Larisa Zilickaja – as an Honorary Member, for her cultural contributions and ongoing support.
Irena Gražulienė – a creative and active new member of the Club.
🏆 Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the artists who participated in our summer exhibition held at the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas). These
awards recognise the passion, dedication, and artistic excellence shown by our members in representing Baltic culture on an international stage.
The gathering was filled with meaningful conversation, laughter, and new ideas for future collaborations. We are grateful to everyone who took part and made the evening so special.
🖼️ This event is part of Albion Art Club's mission to connect cultures through creativity, and to uplift our artists by acknowledging their efforts publicly and sincerely.
From 1st to 2nd July 2025, the historic halls of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania in Vilnius hosted a unique international exhibition titled “Baltic Radiation: The Art of Inspiration and Friends.”
This special showcase brings together 12 original paintings created by six talented artists living in the United Kingdom:
🎨 Rasa Usackiene
🎨 Samanta Biliotaviciute
🎨 Audrone Lamb
🎨 Oksana Zhukova
🎨 Anna Gharib
🎨 Anastasija Loncakova
Organised by Albion Art Club, this exhibition continues the club’s mission to celebrate creativity, cross-cultural friendship, and the artistic voices of the Baltic diaspora and beyond. These artworks explore themes of inner strength, migration, healing, memory, and the beauty of identity rediscovered through painting.
The exhibition is not only a visual experience but a cultural dialogue—an invitation to reflect on how art connects us across borders and generations.
📚 Presented with the support of the Seimas and in collaboration with the Lithuanian Embassy in London, this event is part of a wider initiative to promote Baltic and European art in prestigious spaces across the UK and Europe.
Albion Art Club Honoured with Recognition
We are proud to share the exciting news that our short film Baltic Radiation: The Art of Inspiration was selected as a finalist at the prestigious ECG Film Festival in London. The screening took place at the Lumiere Cinema in Romford – a vibrant gathering space for filmmakers, artists, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world.
Representing the Albion Art Club, founder Aldona Grupas had the honour of presenting the film to an international audience. This beautifully crafted visual story highlights the work of Baltic artists living in the UK and celebrates creativity as a powerful force of connection, resilience, and cultural identity.
To be recognised among such talented filmmakers was a deeply moving experience. Receiving an award at this remarkable event is a meaningful milestone for our community – a testament to the passion, vision, and unity that the Albion Art Club brings to each project.
We extend heartfelt thanks to the organisers of the Eurasian Film Festival for creating a platform that uplifts diverse voices and fosters cultural dialogue through art and cinema. This achievement inspires us to continue creating, connecting, and shining a light on the untold stories that matter.

What does it mean to be human?
We all carry stories—some written on our faces, others hidden in the depths of our hearts. Through my paintings, I explore emotions, resilience, and the beauty of imperfection. This exhibition is not just about art, but about life—raw, honest, and deeply personal.
Step into a space where colours speak louder than words, where every brushstroke tells a story, and where you might see a reflection of yourself.
Join me for an unforgettable evening of art, live music, and heartfelt conversations. Let’s celebrate what it truly means to be human!
You are warmly invited! Bring a friend and bring your heart.
Let us know if you're coming & share this event with friends!
Exhibition Introduction:
The collection “Journey” is based on the interplay between Lithuanian and British cultures and personal experiences of living in both countries.
Exhibition Description:
I was inspired by the symbolism of the 17th-century "Little Dutch Masters," which invites the viewer to delve deeper and discover hidden meanings. This inspiration gave birth to the collection“Journey”.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of my collection, which has been exhibited both in Lithuania and the United Kingdom. The collection, titled “Journey” is a contemplation of the commonalities and differences between Lithuania and the United Kingdom. The works reflect the cultural symbols and historical connections of these two countries. Inspired by personal experiences and shared European values, the pieces explore the complex impact of the Brexit era while bridging the identities of both nations.
I have something special to share with you...
You know how art can touch the soul, right? Well, we are creating something truly meaningful—a beautiful album featuring the works and stories of Baltic artists exhibited in London at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania.
This album will be multilingual (English, Lithuanian, Latvian, Ukrainian), but most importantly, it will be filled with heart.
It’s not just an art showcase—it’s a preservation of the emotions, creativity, and passion of these incredible artists. Every brushstroke, every word, every detail tells a story. And the best part? This book will debut at the 2025 Vilnius Book Show, shining as a testament to the beauty of Baltic culture.
I can’t express how much this project means to me—it feels like creating a legacy that we can all share and be proud of. Knowing that people like you believe in this vision makes it even more special. This album is more than just a project; it’s a way to connect hearts and inspire future generations.
We can all be a part of this journey, and I can’t wait to see it come to life. Let’s make this dream a reality together.

From emerging talents like Anastasija Loncakova to seasoned creators like Rasa Usackiene, Daina Kiseliene and Anna Ghareeb, the exhibition brought together a diverse community of artists from Lithuania, Latvia, and beyond.
Album Presentation: Kūrybos kaleidoskopas
A proud moment for me as I presented the album Creative Kaleidoscope: Rays of Light in the World of Literature and Art. It was a joy to acknowledge the incredible contributions of co-authors and share this creative journey with an engaged audience.
Community Connections
From heartfelt speeches to welcoming art lovers and agency experts, this month was a testament to the power of collaboration and the beauty of shared experiences. It was especially meaningful to connect with new people and discuss future possibilities for art and culture.
New Beginnings in Music and Health
Together with Aldona Grupas, we continued to make strides in our project "How to Restore Health in the Union of Medicine and Music." Every step reinforces the belief in the healing power of creativity.
Strengthening Community Bonds

Meeting at the Lithuanian Embassy in July 2023
Neringa Ablingytė People also ask how I am creating (music, songs, poems, paintings, theatre performances, or simply spontaneously performing with the kids). I can't answer. I am not doing it; I am just jumping into this amazing flow of energy and power and copying it from there. And I believe that we just need to break our blocks, and then everyone can do it.
Amazing exhibition of artists from Kyrgyzstan. Wonderful paintings. ECG London has always supported colleagues. We had a lovely time in London. We met talented people.
Cultural heritage implies a shared bond, our belonging to a community. The protection of cultural property is an old problem. Cultural heritage passed down to us from our parents must be preserved for the benefit of all. Writing and reading are primarily solitary pursuits. We invite everyone who values arts and culture to explore the written word. And we support the vibrancy and diversity of the Lithuanian writers in the UK artistic culture. We believe that writing empowers greater understanding of self and others and thereby encourages compassion and empathy in our society.
