MEET OUR CLUB MEMBER: LOVE GROSMANE

Albion Art Club is delighted to introduce our talented member Love Grosmane, a pet and wildlife artist whose remarkably detailed portraits capture far more than an animal’s appearance. Through expressive eyes, carefully rendered textures and sensitive use of colour, Love brings out the unique character and spirit of every animal she portrays.

Born in Ukraine, raised in Latvia and now living in the United Kingdom, Love has been passionate about drawing since childhood. She works mainly with professional coloured pencils and pastels, while also exploring watercolours. Her portraits become lasting and deeply personal keepsakes, celebrating the joy animals bring into our lives and preserving treasured memories.

Love’s artistic achievements include being selected for the Explorers Against Extinction Collection of 100 for three consecutive years. She was also shortlisted as a finalist in 2020 and 2021 and joined the Invitational Collection in 2022. In addition, she was a finalist in the SAA Artist of the Year competition in both 2021 and 2022.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and venues across the UK and internationally, including the OXO Tower Wharf in London, the Royal Geographical Society, the State Darwin Museum in Moscow, the Embassy of Lithuania in London and the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.

Albion Art Club is proud to be the official cultural partner of the short film Between Two Lands, produced by Marina Strela in collaboration with CDMS Motion.

Between Two Lands is a poetic and deeply human story about identity, belonging, and the emotional journey of living between two countries. It follows a woman caught between the place she once called home and the life she is trying to build in a new country.

For many people, emigration is more than a change of address. It is a lifelong search for where the heart truly belongs. This film explores those emotions with honesty, sensitivity and authenticity.

Filmed in the United Kingdom, Between Two Lands brings together talented artists from Lithuania and the UK. The leading roles are performed by acclaimed Lithuanian actresses Ineta Stasiulytė and Digna Kulionytė.

This is a story for everyone who has ever left home, started again, or found themselves living between two worlds.
